Huawei Ascend G510 and Ascend Y300 spotted online

Huawei Ascend G510, a Jelly Bean smartphone powered by a dual-core processor that was launched at MWC 2013 is now available for pre-order on online retailer Flipkart and is priced at Rs.10990.

The company’s another device Ascend Y300, a budget smartphone that was launched in the month of March is also up for pre-order and it is tagged with a price of Rs.7980.

Looking at the features, Ascend G510 boasts of a 4.5-inch IPS display which runs on 854 x 480 pixels of resolution and the mobile is powered by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM.

The phone has not much to offer in terms of memory, it comes with 4 GB in-built memory, but it can be expanded upto 32 GB with microSD. For connectivity, it comes pre-loaded with 3G, WiFi, DLNA, GPS and Bluetooth features. Ascend G510 also includes a 5 MP back camera and a VGA front camera.

Huawei Ascend G510 locks horns with the recently launched Nokia Lumia 520 (compare) which is priced at Rs.10499 on Flipkart and Sony Xperia E Dual (compare) which is available on Saholic for Rs.10990

Coming to the other smartphone Ascend Y300, it comes with features almost similar to that of Ascend G510. The major differences being, the Ascend Y300 comes with 1 GHz dual-core processor and includes a 4-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels of resolution.
