LG G Pro 2 Announcement Scheduled For February 13

By Abid Iqbal on Sunday 9th of Feb 2014

After a bunch of leaks related to the next flagship phablet from LG last week, it appears that the LG G Pro 2 is scheduled to be announced on 13 of this month. The device was expected to be announced in MWC (25th February, 2014) but LG has pre-poned and scheduled a separate event for its launch. They’ve sent invitations for an event to be conducted in Korea.

It will have a Snapdragon 800 SoC and a 6 inch Full HD display with ultra-thin bezels.

LG G2 Pro Rear

The successor of the LG Optimus G Pro is rumoured to come with a Snapdragon 800 SoC and a 6 inch Full HD display with ultra-thin bezels, similar to LG G2 and Nexus 5. The device will also feature its power and volume keys mounted on the back. The Optimus G Pro stood at the first place when compared to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (according to GSMArena) making it the best phablet last year but this year it will be a tough competition for LG as many phablets have entered market especially the Galaxy Note 3 with which the G Pro 2 will have to compete strongly. Let’s wait and watch to see who wins the title of the best phablet of 2014.
