After LG confirmed the device’s name and possible release date for LG G2 Pro last Sunday, LG has once again released vital information about the successor of Optimus G Pro. This time the company has shed light about the device’s camera. According to LG Korea, the G2 Pro will feature a 13MP camera with OIS+ which is an improved version of normally found Optical Image Stabilization feature. OIS+ will feature EIS (Electro Image System) which will further correct shakes on the software side to give crystal-clear picture quality. The G2 Pro will also feature much-hyped 4K video recording (3840 x 2160) at 30 frames per second. The front-facing camera will be an improved version of the one found on the G2 with ‘Flash Gonzo’ and running at a resolution of 2.1MP.
This phablet will also feature slow-motion video recording and continuous shooting mode which will capture 20 photos in one image. LG states that the camera is capable enough to shoot quality UHD videos even in dark conditions. The LG G2 Pro will most probably be unveiled during MWC in Barcelona this month. Earlier rumours suggested that it will feature a 6″ full HD 1080p display and Snapdragon 800 chipset. The phablet will be a strong competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Nokia Lumia 1520 and Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
