Microsoft Surface Pro 2 Breaks Cover

Microsoft has now made it official that it is launching a successor to its popular tablet Surface. It has been named Surface Pro 2. Let us have a quick look at some of the key specifications and features of the Surface Pro 2 tablet:

  • Display: This sleek, slim and stylishly designed tablet comes with a capacitive ClearType Full HD display of 10.6 inches. It provides a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Surface Pro 2 ensures 46% better accuracy in colors.
  • Processor: This device has been powered by an Intel Core i5-4200U Haswell ultra low power mobile processor
  • Operating System: This tablet will function on Windows 8.1 Pro operating system with full Office Suite.
  • Memory: The Surface Pro 2 is available in two variants. One that carries a RAM of 4 GB and storage capacity of 64/ 128 GB and another that comes with a RAM of 8 GB and storage capacity of 256/ 512 GB SSD.
  • Other Features: It features four USB 3.0 ports, Mini Display Port and Ethernet port. It has a new Power Cover and Type/Touch Cover 2s. It has an integrated kickstand at its rear. Early buyers of this device will get free Wi-Fi through official Skype App and free International Calling also!
  • Price: Microsoft has priced the Surface Pro 2 tablet starting around $899.
 It is expected to enter the markers by October and will be available in 22 markets by November.
