Nokia Lumia 2520 leaks before launch

Nokia is gearing itself up for an October 22 event where it is speculated that it will be showcasing 6 new devices. We are highly confident that one of them will be a Tablet.  The company now will be bringing its much acclaimed fabula design language to the Tablet market. Pictures of Nokia’s Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet in cyan  and red colours have surfaced on internet. It might well carry the Kickstand and a charging cover that will work both as an extra battery and Keyboard

Better Late than never.Nokia finally looks to unveil the Tablet we have been waiting for so long.

Let us have a quick glance at the rumoured features and specifications of this tablet:

  • Display: This device will carry IPS touch display of 10.1 inches with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
  • Processor: This tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor of 2.15 Giga Hertz.
  • Operating System: The Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet will run on Windows 8.1 OS in all likelihood.
  • Camera: This tablet has been equipped with a 6.7 mega pixel primary camera with auto focus and LED flash feature. It also carries a secondary camera of 2 mega pixels for video conferencing.
  • Memory: The slate as per rumours carries a RAM of 2 GB and internal memory of 32 GB. It features an expandable memory of up to 64 GB.
  • Connectivity Features: The Nokia Lumia 2520 will offer connectivity features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 2G, 3G and LTE.
  • Other Features: This tablet will feature a 3.5 mm audio jack, Accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer and proximity sensor. It will let you record and play videos of 1080 pixels resolution. Nokia Lumia 2520 will come a keyboard dock as well.
  • Battery: The exact figures are not known but as per the word on the street, the device has been equipped with a battery powerful enough to provide a battery life of approximately 10 hours.
This may well be the last event where Nokia will be showcasing devices.


The tablet looks good on specs. But windows is still lagging behind as an OS for the tablet market

After the takeover we hope there will be more complementing of the software with the innovations that the Nokia team has been pushing forward.
