Samsung is planning to compete with Google by coming up with its own Galaxy Glass gadget, even before Google’s iconic Google Glass becomes available commercially. They are both similar devices. As per the rumors, Samsung will announce Galaxy Glass gadget in the coming year somewhere around April or May. This is indicative of the fact that the company has already started working on this gadget.

This year Samsung has launched quite a few Android enabled smartphones in the market. Though its Galaxy Gear failed to impress the customer, the company is still doing pretty good in terms of sales and is likely to reap huge profits this festive season in India.

Just like Google Glass, Samsung Galaxy Glass will be a wearable device with an embedded camera. It will run applications and enable you to connect it to your smartphone device wirelessly. Since it’s a Samsung product, it is safe to assume that it will be compatible with Samsung smartphones and tablets only.

Since Galaxy Glass will be coming directly from the manufacturer, Samsung’s execution will be faster and so will be the roll out and availability of this gadget. It is pretty exciting piece of news for the gadget savvy people. With the Galaxy Glass device, the South Korean company is doing everything it can to monopolize every avenue of technology and gadgets. No more details are out about this device so far. But hopefully, some specifications and features will be disclosed soon.
