After numerous leaks about Samsung smartphones in the past few days, here comes another one. This time its a Windows Phone device. Samsung is working on a new high end Windows Phone 8 based smartphone that will compete with recently released Nokia Lumia 1520. According to the leaks from Bluetooth SIG and from Samsung itself, this phone will sport a 5″ screen with a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Leaks also confirm that this smartphone will be LTE capable and the phone will be known as Samsung SM-W750V. It may probably be released in the ATIV series. There is no information on processor or chipset but we expect the phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM and at least 16GB of internal storage space.
If you can remember, Samsung did not launch any new Windows phone in market after the Samsung ATIV S. So it has been more than a year since Samsung is not in action, in terms of Windows Phone based devices. Only Nokia is the active player in this regard with a bevy of launches in every price segment. They’ve launched Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320 and Lumia 525 in the past couple of months. Undoubtedly, it has the highest market share in Windows Phone market. As of now, the Nokia Lumia 1520 is the flagship Windows Phone device and it lacks any competitor, except the leaked Samsung SM-750V. Keep in touch with us to know more about this phone.
