Android 4.1- What will it be?

For a short span, users attempting to buy a Samsung Galaxy Nexus from a Google Play Store got a sneak preview about Android’s next line up christened “Android 4.1 – Jelly Bean” .

With just four days left for Google’s I/O conference , perhaps the Tech Giant accidentally let out ‘The Next one’ in its Android series. For a short span, users attempting to buy a Samsung Galaxy Nexus from a Google Play Store got a sneak preview about Android’s next line up christened “Android 4.1 – Jelly Bean” . Google itself put up a jaw dropping description about the ‘Nexus’ being the first phone to feature Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Though Google soon detected its leak, it couldn’t escape the eyes of Droid Life, who at once put it up on the web for the world to see. He also took a screenshot which marks the distinguishing features from last update – The IceCream  Sandwich . The Screenshot reveals a refreshing Google Search Bar and  a new background Wallpaper. Not only the visuals but the application launcher too has been re-engineered to a extent and Google Chrome has been set as the default browser.
Apart from the Samsung galaxy Nexus , sources are of the opinion that Google is also bent on releasing a Nexus Tablet. The tablet is expected to have a 7 inch screen and will be powered by Asus.

With no official statement released yet , it will be a blind shot to guess more about the upcoming OS or the conference. With Google all geared up for its I/O conference in San Francisco, the users round the globe now will be waiting eagerly for Android’s next update to be rolled out.

If Google presents anything newsworthy at the conference , we are sure to pack that up for you. Stay connected to Gadgetronica.com.
