A day before, Apple had announced that it has sold 9 million units of iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S smartphones over the first weekend. Now, the company has launched its refreshed range of iMacs in a very quite manner. These new iMacs carry the Intel’s fourth generation core processor and offer support for 802.11 ac in order to assure faster speed on Wi-Fi. Let us have a look at the new iMacs:
- The entry level iMac features a display of 21.5 inches and a quad core Intel Core i5 processor of 2.7 GHz. It comes with new Iris Pro graphics. This device has been launched at the price of Rs. 99,000.
- There are two high end models two. One variant sports a 21.5 inch display and carry Intel Core i5 quad core processor of up to 3.4 GHz. It has NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics incorporated in them which as twice the video memory. It ensure about 40% faster performance that the earlier iMacs. The high end 21.5 inch variant has been launched for Rs. 114,900.
- The other high end variant sports 27 inch display. It carries an Intel Core i5 quad core processor of 3.2 GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.6 GHz. It has also been equipped with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 755M graphics. It has been priced at Rs. 139,900. It’s another variant features Intel Core i5 quad core processor of 3.4 GHz with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.8 GHz. It has the same graphics and comes at a price of Rs. 154,900.
