BlackBerry 10 based smartphones coming to India in February?
For a long time now, the profit shares of mobile manufacturer RIM have been plunging. This Canada based company is pinning all it’s hopes on the upcoming BB 10 OS which is going to be launched on January 30th and on the BB10 based smartphones.
According to a TOI report, the BB 10 smartphone will arrive in India in the second or third week of February. If this report turns out to be true, then India will be one of the first countries to receive the BB10 smartphone.
In the same report, TOI quoted RIM’s India managing director’s statement that RIM is not looking to increase it’s device volumes like those manufacturers aiming for the sub-15K market but will maintain the premium quality as expected by it’s users.
We can expect the BB 10 device which will arrive in India to be BlackBerry Z10 which has been circulating in rumours for quite a long time and as suggested, this phone will feature a 4.2-inch display at 1280 x 768 pixels resolution, 8 MP rear camera wit autofocus and LED flash, 2 MP front camera, dual-core 1.5 GHz processor and will also include a 2 GB RAM.
