Budget smartphones Intex Aqua SX and Aqua Star spotted online
Two new budget smartphones from Intex’s Aqua series, Aqua SX and Aqua Star were spotted on the company’s official website with a price tag of Rs. 4490 and Rs. 3990 respectively. Another smartphone Aqua Superb that will be released soon also got listed on the website.
Similar to many Indian entry level smartphones, Intex Aqua SX runs Android 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) and is powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MTK6515 processor. The 3.5-inch display of the device runs on 480 x 320 pixels resolution.
Aqua SX comes with a 5 MP snapper at the rear and a VGA front camera. For storage, it comes with 512 MB of in-built memory and a microSD slot. It has 256 MB of RAM.
Aqua SX lacks 3G connectivity and supports 2G, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0.
Coming to the Aqua Star, not many features have been revealed. For all we know, this device sports a 4-inch display, 3 MP back camera, 1.3 MP front camera and runs Andrid Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
With a similar price tags, Aqua SX competes with the recently launched Karbonn A4 (compare) and Aqua Star competes with the Karbonn A3.
