Opera has made an official announcement stating that it will be partnering with seven Indian OEMs to pre install Opera Mini browser on their Android based devices. These 7 Indian OEMs include:
- MoMagic Technologies
- Lemon Mobiles
Opera will also be joining hands with Bangladesh’s Symphony Mobile and Nepal’s Colors Mobile in the South Asia region. The previous seven Indian OEMs who has been partners with Opera since May this year are HCL, Fly, Lava, Zen, Intex, Celkon and Karbonn.
According to the Vice President for South Asia, Opera Software, Sunil Karnath, India has been a home to the largest number of users of Opera Mini in the world. Thus, joining hands with the local OEMs of the country and its neighbors will help in the growth of Opera Mini users. Since the start of 2013, Opera Mini has been pre installed in more than hundred Android devices launched in India, Nepal and Bangladesh.

With this move, Opera has made its browser available to million of Android users. Opera Mini browser has been pre installed in latest Android enabled smartphones, such as Micromax Canvas 4, Canvas Doodle 2, Lava Iris 506Q, Spice Coolpad, Karbonn A9 Star and Celkon Campus A20.
