IdeaPad Y500 and IdeaPad Z50 arrives in India, priced at Rs 64290 and Rs 48990 respectively


Lenovo launches Windows 8 based notebooks IdeaPad Y500 and IdeaPad Z50 into the Indian market.

Lenovo has launched the Windows 8 versions of its popular IdeaPad series of laptops in the Indian market. Let’s have a look at their specifications and price in India.

IdeaPad Y500 specifications:

It has a 15.6-inch LED backlit display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and for webchat it has a 720p HD webcam and a dual digital array microphone. An Intel 3rd generation Intel Core  i7 processor and NVIDIA graphics processor power this notebook. It supports 1TB HDD and up to 8 GB of RAM. Connectivity ports of this notebook include HDMI Out, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 and a 6-in-1 card reader port and also supports Wireless Connectivity features like WiFi, 10/100/1000M Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0. A 6-cell battery powers this laptop with a good 3 hours of battery life.

IdeaPad Z50 specifications:

Even this laptop features a 15.6-inch LED backlit HD display, Intel 3rd generation Intel Core  i7 processor and uses a 2GB NVIDIA Graphics card. Coming to memory, it supports an 8 GB DDR3 RAM and 1 TB HDD storage. It features HDMI, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 and a 2-in-1 card reader port. A 4-cell battery is included in this notebook that offers 5 hours of battery life.

IdeaPad Z50 is priced at Rs. 48990.
