Konka phones: Expose, Tuxedo, Tango and Viva coming to India

Konka phonesNew Delhi, 21 February 2013 – Konka, a leading Chinese consumer electronics and mobile phone manufacturer, has announced its entry in the Indian market this morning. In collaboration with Mak Mobility, a leading mobile distributor in South – East Asia, Konka would hope to improve its astounding 3 Billion USD turnover.

Konka’s entry strategy would be focused on the high end Camera Smartphone Market, with ‘Expose’ being the first series to be released. We are still not sure if it is a series OR a phone in particular. In fact, we doubt even the people at Konka are aware of the fact that at one point, their Press Release states – ‘Expose’, is a brilliant Camera Smartphone. An absolute delight for both, photography enthusiasts and discerning Smartphone users.” And then say – ‘Expose’ is a phone series for avid photographers.” That confusion aside, there are a total of 4 series of phones to be launched in India. Apparently with sophisticated craftsmanship and technology, Konka would be launching a product line for the Indian market, which includes; Expose’ for avid photographers; Tuxedo for Business Executives; Tango for Music Lovers; Viva for Fashion divas. Each phone is unique as it is a combination of form factor, that is, a bigger touch screen, specifications like faster processor speeds and the very best of operating systems, combined with unique benefits of each series they belong to.

Konka here, are trying to market their phones on the basis of different requirements of various customers. Targeting the individuals’ need. Going beyond hardware, Konka also promises an amazing Cloud experience for all its Smart Phone users in India, a first in that regard.

With Smart Phones ‘Designed for humans’ INHUMANELY priced, we sure hope Konka comes up with products with affordability and re-affirming quality. The fierce competition between Indian and Foreign Smart Phone manufacturers just got feistier.
