Coming back to Iris 454, it features a 8 MP back shooter with autofocus and LED flash and a VGA front camera. This smartphone comes with 2 GB of in-built memory, 4 GB ROM, 512 MB RAM and a microSD slot. Lava is also offering a 4 GB MMC (memory card) along with this gadget.

Iris 454 supports 3G, WiFi, GPS, HDMI port, Bluetooth and USB. A 1650 mAh battery gives this ’9.9 mm thick’ device with approximately 5 to 7 hours of talktime and 280 h standby time.

According to mail from Lava, it is planning to release a brand new model every ‘Friday’. Yes, your heard that right! A new model every Friday. With more than ten models already released by Lava this year, only time will tell if increasing number of models in the market will result in increased sales or increased confusion among the customer on deciding on ‘what to buy’. Interesting times ahead.

Other recently released smartphones in the Indian market are Karbonn A12, Byond B63 and Intex Aqua Flash.
