Leaked: LG’s New Flagship, The Optimus G Pro
Details regarding LG’s new flagship and successor to the old Optimus G were recently leaked over the Internet. Engadget managed to secure a slide flaunting the design and specs of the new LG Optimus G Pro. The configuration and design are right in line with other high-end phones although there is nothing which stands out. Powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and sporting a 5″ 1080p display all powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage insure lag-free multitasking and ample space for apps, movies and music. It also packs a 13MP rear camera and a 2.4MP front facing camera, all impressive for such a phone. Nothing can be said about the camera quality at the moment.
The new design for the Optimus G Pro is simple and streamlined and gives the phone an aura of elegance. Personally, I’m a huge fan of a no-frills design, plain and simple is just the way I like it. Fans of the classic iPhone 4/5 design will find themselves loving the design. It comes in two colors, Indigo Black and Platinum White.
There is no definite release date as of now but we’ve heard rumors of a Japanese launch soon, followed by a global launch in Q2, 2013.
