LG Hecto Laser TV system
LG recently announced their latest techie, the 100-inch class (100-inch diagonal) Laser TV that acts not only as a Smart TV, but a Digital TV as well. Ballyhooed as a remarkable home theater /system, the Laser TV is said to be made up of a special screen as well as an external Ultra Short Throw (UST) projection unit. This new invention is going to be showcased for the first time at CES 2013 in less than 2 weeks at Las Vegas, Nevada, flaunting its HD 1080p resolution.
Talk, is that the system provides a classy theater-like experience at home, without one experiencing the difficulties of setting up or installing the projectors, compared to the contemporary systems. A major advantage of using this projector is the ease with which it can be handled and it is not required that the system be placed well away from the screen to obtain a clear, un-pixelated experience as the laser TV lets you place the lens just 22 inches (56 cm) from the screen, pretty flexible, huh? Other options include the positioning of the laser either or on the floor or hanging from the ceiling.
The Laser TV has all the characteristics of a Smart TV like built-in Wi-Fi, Netflix, YouTube, Smart World app store. Personal content, such as pictures, home videos and music libraries can be accessed via USB or LG Cloud.
