Micromax had started as a low-cost cellphone producer some 5 years ago. However, over the years, it has evolved by a great extent to stand in the cue of front-line cellphone producers. Recently, the Indian manufacturer came out with its Canvas Turbo flagship series along with the announcement that Hollywood star Hugh Jackman will take on the responsibility of being its new brand ambassador. Although, not much has been revealed in terms of specifications, here are a few details of Micromax Canvas A250 Turbo that we have come to know.
. 5-inch 1080p display
. 5-megapixel front camera
. 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 processor
. Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean
. All the software bells and whistles which have been a part of the predecessor Canvas 4
. Card slots for 2 micro-SIM cards
Since the SIM card slots are on the sides rather than on the backside, the device will most probably have a non-removable battery similar to its predecessor Canvas Doodle 2. Battery capacity is still unknown.
As far as the price is concerned, It may turn out to be the most expensive device from the Micromax and positioned well above all other devices from the company. The positives of the device is its good quality rear camera, 1080p full HD display and a powerful processor. After a lack lustre response from the Doodle 2 launch, the company is betting heavily on this new series. If this works well, it will help Micromax in a big way to consolidate and grow its share in the Android market of India.
