Nokia is a Finland based company popular for manufacturing top quality mobile devices with excellent technology incorporated in them. This year Nokia has announced a range of its newest gadgets that will be released in the market soon. One of the most rumored devices is its phablet that has been named Nokia Lumia 1520. Some of the rumored specifications of the Nokia Lumia1520 phablet are:
- This phablet features a capacitive touch display of 6 inches.
- It comes with GDR3 upgrade which ensures a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
- It will functional on the Windows Phone 8 OS.
- Its camera will feature Nokia PureView Technology.
- It also features a wireless charging port.
Over some time certain photographs of Nokia Lumia 1520 have been leaked over internet. The pictures are indicative of a small bump at the phablet’s rear which is expected to be because of the powerful 20 mega pixel camera.
Now, Qualcomm has made it official in a Tweet that the Nokia Lumia1520 Phablet will be supporting the Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. It is presently the best mobile chipset manufactured by the company. However, Qualcomm quickly retracted the statement as there are still some non-disclosure agreements in place before the official revelation. But, the cat is now out of the bag.
In reply to Mika B’s Tweet which stated “See you in Lumia 1520 with superior 20 Mpx Camera”, Qualcomm replied with the Tweet “You are correct — and we’re proud to be a part of that awesome device.” It has not been ascertained yet whether Qualcomm was also confirming a 20 mega pixel camera in Nokia Lumia 1520 Phablet.
Though the reply came from the official Twitter handle of the Qualcomm, in the past such handles have been known to waver. Also official announced from Nokia has not been received yet.
