HTC releases Desire U smartphone with single-core 1 GHz processor for $275


HTC releases a budget smartphone Desire U in Taiwan for $275. This phone runs on Android ICS and HTC Sense. It also offers HTC’s famous Beats Audio feature.

Desire U

Desire U packs a pretty ordinary combo of single-core 1 GHz procesor and 512 MB RAM. It features a 4-inch display with 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA) resolution and a 5 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. It comes with 4 GB in-built memory and supports external memory through microSD slot. This phone includes connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth etc.

There is no information on when this phone will hit the stores of China and Taiwan and about it’s worlwide release.
