As more and more of Apple’s market is being grabbed by Android, it has been working hard to produce budget iPhone to tackle its rivals and steer ahead of them. With this in mind, Apple has launched its cheaper iPhone 5C along with its latest Smartphone iPhone 5S.
Let us have a look at some of the key features of iPhone 5C:
Built: The dimensions of this device are 124.4 x 59.2 x 8.97 mm and it weighs about 132 grams.
Display: It comes with a multi touch Retina display of 4 inches which offers resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density. The screen of the device has been covered with protective oleophobic coating.
Processor: iPhone 5C has been loaded with a quad core processor and A6 chip.
Operating System: It works on iOS 7.
Camera: iPhone 5C comes with a primary camera of 8 mega pixels and a secondary camera of 1.2 mega pixels for video calling. The primary camera comes with auto focus, tap to focus, LED flash, Panorama, Face detection, geo tagging, backside illumination sensor, Hybrid IR filter and five element lens features.
Memory: It comes with an internal storage of 16/ 32 GB.
Connectivity features: Connectivity options included in the device are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3G.
Other features: This device has been pre loaded with a range of functional apps and features, such as iPhoto, iMovie, iBooks, Podcasts, iTunes store, Gyroscope, Digital compass, Accelerometer, Proximity and ambient light sensors, etc. It comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack, too. iPhone 5C is available in a variety of colors.
Battery: This Smartphone functions on a Li-ion battery that offers talk time of about 10 hours on 3G and a standby time of 250 hours.
Our Take: The iPhone 5C carries great features, services, applications and the tag of a budget phone, however, it is not really a cheaper option.
