Karbonn A7+ gets a silent launch, replaces the Karbonn A7

Karbonn A7+ gets a silent launch, replaces the Karbonn A7. Karbonn A7+ full specifications and lowest price in India.

Karbonn has silently upgraded their mid-range Android offering the Karbonn A7 with a new and updated version named simply the Karbonn A7+. The Karbonn A7+ is in every way identical to the Karbonn A7, with the only key difference being that the Karbonn A7+ packs a slightly faster 1 GHz processor, compared to the 800 MHz processor ticking inside the Karbonn A7. So we have a sweet budget dual-sim droid which also happens to resemble the HTC Nexus (Google Nexus) a bit in terms of design. Let’s see what the package has to offer:

Karbonn A7+ Full Specifications

Overall we see a nice but standard package with the Karbonn A7+. The same weak Adreno 200 enhanced GPU will actually rejoice with the 3.5″ HVGA display (which supports 262k colours only) as it will have to push fewer pixels and hence games should theoretically run much smoother. Apart from that, the Karbonn A7+ packs a 5 MP camera with dual-LED flash that should allow for snapping some good pictures even in low-light conditions. The 1420 mAh battery is pretty standard and should help last through a day’s usage. The A7+ has 512 MB of RAM which would really come in handy in multi-tasking and running multiple apps at a go or playing games (with high RAM requirements). Perhaps the biggest bummer would be the 157 MB internal storage. Thanks to that, many apps which require more storage and do not have the option to be installed into the SD card simply cannot be installed on this device. Even the OS being Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread can be forgiven as the average user will hardly notice. Use something like GO Launcher and they would be happy. The internal storage, that is a serious limitation.

Karbonn A7+ Lowest Price in India @ Rs. 6,489

The Karbonn A7+ can be had for just Rs. 6,990 which is marginally higher than the Rs. 6,849 price tag of the Karbonn A7. With the tiny difference, it makes sense to go for the faster and newer A7+ over the A7. You can buy the Karbonn A7+ by following the given links.
