Tegra 4 has 72 custom GPU cores and 4 ARM Cortex-A15 CPU cores and utilizes the latest 28nm manufacturing technology. Tegra 3 has 12 GPU cores. The SoC is a quad-core with a companion core to reduce load and power, similar to Tegra 3.  It consumes 45% lesser power than Tegra 3.

Optional 4G LTE with Icera technology is also available. Video support has been increased to 1440p and can operate screen resolution upto 2560 x 1600; thus offering full HD.
