Samsung has come up with its second Android based flip phone in a span of less than a couple of months. The latest one is Galaxy Golden SHV-E400 which has recently been unveiled in South Korea. However, there is no news by when this handset be available in the Indian and the rest other markets.
Very similar to its predecessor Samsung W789, this phone too comes with a dual screen with dual-touch display. With a display on the front, the user can operate the phone even when the flap is closed. Alternatively, you can flip open to use the other screen with a keyboard. The device is positioned to target the mid-aged or older demographic segments.

Apart from these basic specifications, the phone comes with many apps to keep you connected, informed and glued to the device. These apps include S Health, Business card app which recognises contact details when clicking a photo of a business card, WatchOn app which offers TV program guide, and S Translator App that can translate 12 languages, either spoken or in text, including emails or sign boards as well.
Further, it goes without saying that there are pre-installed apps to connect to all the major social networking sites including Facebook and Twitter.However, the company has not given the clear details of the storage specifications and we may have to wait for the phones to hit the shop floor to find this out. Let’s see when the company chooses to come out of the test market to the open arena.
