Nokia is one of the finest makers of mobile devices in the Indian market. This Finland based company is popular for manufacturing mobile gadgets that has aesthetic designs, latest brilliant technology and a wide range of features and services incorporated in them. It is trusted for making mobile devices that are highly functional. In the IFA event, Nokia announced a range of its newest devices that are to enter the market this year. One of them is Nokia Asha 500.
Recently, a few photographs of the Nokia Asha 500 have surfaced over internet before its official launch. Though, the leaked photographs do not provide any more information of this device other than the image itself. Therefore no official specifications of the handset are out yet. What we do know for sure is that Nokia Asha 500 is a Dual SIM version of another Nokia handset, Asha 501.
However, from the leaked photographs one can notice certain changes that have been made in the design of this phone. Though the form factor appears to be intact, one can see an attractive translucent effect around the outer edges of the device. It certainly gives a cool look to it. A capacitive button has been incorporated in Nokia Asha 500, thereby, replacing the physical one. The leaked images have also revealed that the Nokia Asha 500 will support WhatsApp, a popular and widely used instant messaging service.
No information has been revealed regarding the hardware or the software of this device. However, Nokia is going to hold a press event on 22nd October during which the Nokia Asha 500 is expected to be unveiled along with the highly awaited phablet, Nokia Lumia 1520. Hopefully, some more details about the specifications of this device will come to light in the event. Till then, all we can do is wait.
