The Samsung Galaxy Gear, Samsung’s first ever smartwatch faces sunshine yet again. With a few other brands entering a rather unconquered sector, Samsung does have a good chance. Not long ago, the Hyetis Crossbow with a 41 MP camera appeared in the wild. Making a competitive smartwatch does turn out to be really difficult, as weight alongside good internal hardware is expected.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear, as per rumors, will pack a 1.5 GHz Dual-core Exynos 4212 Soc. The 1.67 inch AMOLED display is pretty intense with a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels. Guess what, the tiny device will have 1 GB of RAM and a quad-core Mali-400MP4 GPU. Moreover, it will also have bluetooth and NFC connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy Gear is the perfect example of a “pocket sized dynamo”.
The device will probably be revealed alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which is planned to be revealed at Samsung’s Unpacked 2 event, which is to be held this September in Berlin.
