Samsung announced Series 7 and Series 9 touchscreen monitors

Just a few weeks before CES, Samsung launched it’s Series 7 and Series 9 of professional grade monitors.

In Series 7, two models SC750 and SC750 were released.

The Series 7 SC750 is constructed with an ergonomic design and is very slim. It has the capability for a 90 degree pivot thereby increasing the convenience to users.

The sleek stand of the monitor is designed to be positioned at the eye level of the user without needing any support. The monitor is capable of displaying very sharp images and offers a contrast ratio of 5000: 1, which is literally 5 times better than any other standard monitor!

The SC770, on the other hand is a touch-sensitive monitor and is the first multi-touch display made by Samsung. It is specially designed keeping Windows 8 in mind and has around 10 points where users can multi-touch simultaneously which enables users to drag or rotate objects on the screen with ease.

The Series 9 SB970 is a professionally pre-calibrated monitor which was released in the US market in late 2012. Samsung states that the monitor will offer excellent picture quality with color accuracy that is almost life-like. The monitor uses WQHD (Wide-Quad high definition resolution) and a Plane Line Switching (PLS) panel. Moreover, each monitor has been hand-tuned individually by technicians before being shipped.

All these monitors will be displayed at the CES (The Consumer Electronics Show, an annual event that connects all leading manufacturers and constantly inspires them to innovate and showcase new and amazing devices)

We sure expect Samsung to take the Monitor market by storm, starting early 2013.
