Samsung: Galaxy S IV March 2013 rumours not true

Samsung was quick to respond to the Galaxy S IV rumours leaked by Korea Times yesterday. This will no doubt significantly affect the spirits of those expecting a Samsung Galaxy S IV announcement as quickly as possible, but then again no company in its right mind would announce a product months before its launch. There’s a tweet from Samsung’s official Korean account indicating rumors of a Galaxy S successor simply aren’t true. Galaxy line of smartphones have been Samsung’s staple for a few years, and it will no doubt see to it that it will keep cranking them out as long as the courts will let it for the foreseeable future. Galaxy S III has been a resounding success for the company and has surpassed the 20 million mark in sales. All those waiting for the next Galaxy, just hold on, that moment has not yet arrived.

Leaked Samsung Galaxy S IV specifications:

  • Quad-Core Exynos 5 chipset
  • ARM Cortex A15 CPU
  • ARM Mali T604 MP4 GPU
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 5″ FHD (1920×1080) display
  • SuperAMOLED Plus
  • 12/13 MP camera

Just hope that they’re just the tip of the iceberg and Samsung has more in store for its consumers, until then, Next is What.
