Samsung launches HomeSync, a media streamer for Galaxy devices

The South Korean giant Samsung which unveiled an 8-inch variant of its famous Galaxy Note, The Galaxy Note 8.0 just a few hours ago, has announced another device called HomeSync. HomeSync is an Android Jelly Based media streamer. It comes with 1 TB of storage capacity and allows users with Galaxy devices to stream data to a TV wirelessly at 1080p.

HomeSync also supports upto 8 accounts with user-specific ID and password through which an user can upload, download or share data with other users through a ‘shared area’. HomeSync also provides a private area for secured data storage.

It is powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and comes with connectivity features like WiFi, Bluetooth, LAN, USB 3.0, HDMI and Micro USB.

HomeSync’s price is yet to be unveiled and the product will be available in the market from April 2013 (in select countries).
