Sony is one of those names in the list of manufacturers which have always come up with mobile phones equipped with bigger and better technology. This has helped it in gaining popularity and loyalty amongst its consumers.
Sony’s much awaited Xperia Z1, a.k.a Honami is expected to be launched in India on the 18th of September in New Delhi. Pretty much like Xperia Z, Sony is planning to rope in Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif as its brand ambassador. India is going to be amongst the first set of countries where it will be launched.
The phone is said to have a price tag of around Rs. 45,000. The price is susceptible to the forex rate.
Xperia Z1 is expected to boast of a 5.0 inch full-HD display and be equipped with a capacitive touch screen with the multi-touch feature. The screen is not only scratch resistant but also shatter-proof. Where the processor is concerned, this one in the Xperia Z series is said to have an android OS, jelly bean v 4.2, powered by Quad-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. It is said to have a 2GB RAM and a 16 GB internal space with an external slot to support upto a 64 GB microSD card.
Reportedly, it carries a 2O-MP camera combined with Carl Zeiss optics and a lens that Sony reserves for its point and shoot cameras. It is also expected to be one of the first phones which can capture E videos at 4K resolutions. Xperia Z1 is expected to be enabled with Bluetooth v 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The word is that it has a non-removale Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. There will be another addition in this mobile phone. It will have a feature called Info-eye which works in the same way as Nokia’s CityLens app in its Lumia devices.
This phone is expected to remind the Sony lovers why they love this brand. The brand claims that Z1 is going to blow its users’ mind and live up to their expectations.
