You say iPhone 5, Apple says iPhone 5s!

Yes, you read that right, we are talking about the iPhone 5s already, just 2 months after the release of the much speculated iPhone 5. The spark lit apparently by Chinese publication The Commercial times, has spread like wild fire throughout the tech world and has people speculating all over the development of the newer version of the iPhone.

“Facing low yield rates in the production of iPhone 5, Apple has accelerated the certification processes for related parts and components for the iPhone 5S,”  claims another publication Digitimes, which also says that Apple is expected to begin its ‘trial’ production of the new and improved iPhone , calling it the iPhone 5s.

While full scale production is expected to start in the first quarter of the coming year, the iPhone 5s is aimed at being better than the iPhone 5, not only in the features and the performance but if rumors are to be believed then, the initial production volume of the new phone is expected to be in the range of 50,000 – 100,000.

These rumors have also given rise to talks about the release of the next version of the iPad mini. Reports say that, as it has always been with Apple, the next model of the iPad mini is expected to bear a ‘retina ‘ screen and a better processor to deal with the power usage and to keep up the performance of the high resolution , that is cited to be 2048×1536.

Reports have also claimed that along with the release of the iPhone 5s, Apple is planning to release a new iPad in the following quarter after the iPhone release. And if things go well, Apple is also expected to release its much awaited ‘Apple TV’ or as people call it, the iTv , in the first half of 2013.

All we can do is watch and wait for the next move by the Tech giant –Apple, and hope that the new iPhone corrects and improves on the flaws and problems that have come with the iPhone 5.One only expects better maps, a change in the UI and NFC –which was the major thing missing in the iPhone 5.
