Karbonn A30 vs Spice Mi-530: Two Indian Phablets Face Off


The Indian phablet market is rising day by day. Many mobile manufacturers like Micromax, Karbonn, Wickedleak, Spice etc., are flooding their devices into the Indian market. Most of these tablets are boasting a dual-core processor and a 5+ inch display.

Here we are comparing two dual-core processor phablets – Karbonn A30 and Spice Mi-530.

Specs and price comparison of Karbonn A30 and Spice Mi-530:

OS: Both these phablets are powered by the same  Android 4.0 (ICS) platform.

Processor: Again both these phablets share the same score, as they include a dual-core 1 GHz processor.

Display: A30 has a greater display size of 5.9-inch compared to Mi-530 which includes a 5.3-inch display. But in terms of display resolution, Mi-530 (960 x 540 pixels) beats A30 (800 x 480 pixels).

Camera: Both these phablets carry an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, while the rear camera of Mi-530 supports Full HD (1080p) video recording. When it comes to front camera, Mi-530 boasts a 5 MP camera and A30 includes a 1.3 MP camera.

Memory: Mi-530 offers 16 GB inbuilt storage which is much greater than the storage offered by A30 (4 GB) and both these phablets support microSD for external memory.

Other features of these phablets include Dual SIM slots, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Karbonn A30 is available on Saholic for Rs.11500.
Spice Mi-530 is available on Saholic for Rs.13999.
