Micromax A30 Smarty 3.0 vs Spice Stellar Xtacy battle of two entry level smartphones


Both Micromax and Spice released two Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) based phones a few days back. Micromax’s A30 Smarty features a 3-inch display whereas Stellar Xtacy has a 3.5-inch display. Let us see which of these entry-level smartphones has got better features to offer.

OS: Both these phones share equal score when it comes to OS, as both these phones run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Processor: Stellar Xtacy got an edge over A30 Smarty 3.0 in terms of processor as Stellar Xtacy packs a 1 GHz processor  whereas A30 Smarty 3.0 is powered by a 832 MHz processor

Display: Stellar Xtacy outscores A30 Smarty 3.0 with 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen running on 480 x 320 pixels resolution, as A30 Smarty 3.0 includes a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution.

Memory: Both these phones offers same in-built memory space of 512 MB, supports microSD for external memory upto 32 GB and runs on 256 MB of RAM

Camera: As both these phones include a 2 MP rear camera, they stand on the same platform in terms of camera

Battery: A30 Smarty 3.0 got a better battery of 1500 mAh when compare to Stellar Xtacy, as the later one is powered by a 1300 mAh battery

Other common features these phones share are Dual SIM slots, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth etc.
