Analyzing the Karbonn A30 – Size unlimited?

The Karbonn A30 was introduced recently as the largest phablet smartphone in the Indian market (or anywhere, as far as we’ve heard till now. Okay probably barring China). This device is not a phablet, it’s a monster phablet. Packing a humongous ginormous and what not 5.9″ display, you quickly realise that this phone is not for the average Joe (with average hand and pocket size to fit in of course). Let’s delve in and see if this device is for you!

Karbonn A30 Analysis

Through this analysis, we will try to determine which category of people this device will appeal to the most. Let’s begin.

If you like 7″ tablets…

For those people who love using a 7″ tablet and do not mind the two handed operation that it demands, this device will appeal to them. If you’re already using a SIM slot (if available) in your tablet for mobile data and voice, then a device like the Karbonn A30 is smaller and an ideal replacement for your larger tablet.

If you like to watch movies on your device…

If you’re a person who loves watching movies on your mobile device, then the Karbonn A30 is the right one for you. A larger display will go a long way to enhance your experience.

If you text a lot and make many calls…

Then this device is not for you, as it will be a nuisance for you to do that on your phablet. Large size and two handed operation will make it difficult to compose texts on the go. Avoid this device if you’re looking for this.
